We are proud to announce the launch of a new project dedicated to the establishment of a new contaminated soil treatment plant in the Mirandola area (Modena). The plant, based on Soil Washing process technology, will be designed to effectively and sustainably address soil contamination, primarily treating soil, rocks, and waste from excavations or remediation activities, where the material has environmental characteristics that make it unsuitable for use without prior treatment.
The project includes the turnkey supply of the HERAMBIENTE Soil Washing plant, which will be revamped, modified, and integrated to handle matrices with different levels of pollutants, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Originally designed to manage waste from the remediation of an inert landfill, the plant will be upgraded with a chemical-physical water treatment line. This addition will expand the range of pollutants that can be removed or neutralized, giving the plant greater flexibility and the ability to treat a wider variety of waste categories. The revamping, together with the integration of the new treatment sections, is essential to the plant’s relocation to the new site and to the strengthening of its operational capacity, with an expansion of the treatable waste codes.
Diemme Soil Washing SRL was chosen as the original manufacturer of the first plant and for its proven reliability and professionalism, having supplied equipment to prominent clients, including HERA itself. In partnership with ENI, HERA is carrying out, through the company HEA, the redevelopment of the Ponticelle industrial area in Ravenna. As part of this project, DSW is supplying the entire line for the mechanical pre-treatment of waste.
Projects developed by Diemme Soil Washing feature advanced technical solutions to enhance operator safety, equipment efficiency, and durability.
