Installation of filter presses for sludge treatment plant at Boll & Kirch site

The on-site installation phase of the sludge treatment plant for sugar beet digestate that we are building on behalf of Boll & Kirch Filterbau GmbH is proceeding.

The EPCI contract awarded to Diemme Soil Washing includes the Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, site Installation and Commissioning of the complete plant consisting of four identical filter presses mod. UBF 2000.P13 complete with ancillaries such as a high-pressure cloth washing system, compressed air system for Core Blow, Drip Tray.

The supply of the filter presses is completed by the sludge conditioning system and evacuation system of the dehydrated cake using multi-screw conveyors and belt conveyors for bay storage and the filtrate will be used as pre-treatment of BOLLFILTER Ceramic Membrane FineFiltrationTechnology.

The filter presses have been manufactured and the mechanical installation of their support heads and four multi-screw conveyors has already been carried out on site.

We are grateful to Boll & Kirch Filterbau GmbH for the opportunity to realise this extraordinary Project, for the collaboration demonstrated so far and the constructive approach supplied in the daily site challenges.

Full speed ahead!
