    Residential area: Total hydrocarbon <C12 less than 10 mg/kg ss
    Residential area: Total hydrocarbon >C12 less than 50 mg/kg ss
    Industrial area: Total hydrocarbon <C12 less than 250 mg/kg ss
    Industrial area: Total hydrocarbon >C12 less than 750 mg/kg ss

The plant is located close to oil fields in southern Italy and receives polluted soil from oil rigs operations and other polluted soils from nearby industrial areas, steel mills and chemical industries. Clean inert material is recovered for foundation of roads, parking, industrial areas, buildings, etc. Silt and clay are stabilized or disposed in landfill after mechanical dewatering.
