At the Florinas (SS) extraction site of the Maffei Sarda Silicati plant, a company of the Minerali Industriali group, a new filtration system for the treatment of silica sludge has been installed and is already operational. The installation is characterized by the use of a UBF2000 model filter press with a high beam frame, tension jacks and plates measuring 2000×2000 mm.
